Update On Ethio Solar Tarde-Fair 2025

ESEDA prepared a Solar Trade fair Exhibition and Conference in cooperation with Ministry of Water and Energy, Ministry of Agriculture, German Ethiopia Energy Cooperation, international water management institute and ADRA Ethiopia . The primary objective of this event was to create a vibrant networking exhibitions and trade shows to bring together industry players, showcase innovations, and promote technologies. Moreover, to be a platform that facilitates meaningful interactions and collaborations between solar companies, nongovernmental and governmental institutions, and industry professional to drive innovation and address common challenges of the Ethiopian solar energy sector. The event held at Science Museum on February 27,2025 and attracted numerous visitors and served as a dynamic platform fostering growth within Ethiopia’s solar energy sector.

The agenda featured keynote speeches by prominent ministries, industry leaders, and various stakeholders, along with presentations from different contributors included with hashtagPanel discussions on pertinent topics such as “Use Cases on Productive Use of Renewable Energy (hashtagPURE) in Ethiopia” and “Opportunities and Challenges of Local Finance.” Moreover, the exhibition showcased a range of solar energy products and services from different institutions and solar private companies.

The event concluded with a hashtagcertification hashtagaward ceremony honoring exhibitors and supporting partners who contributed to its success, followed by closing remarks, A networking session provided attendees with valuable opportunities to connect and exchange ideas, marking a significant milestone in promoting and advancing solar energy initiatives in Ethiopia.
